Read 1 Chronicles 28:20 in the NABRE onlineAnd David said to Solomon his son: Act like a man, and take courage, and do it. Fear not, and be not dismayed: for the Lord my God will be with thee, and will not leave thee, nor forsake thee, till thou hast finished all the work for the ministry of the house of the Lord.
Reflection
David says this to Solomon at the threshold of a job too large for him. The courage is tied to God's presence, not to Solomon's ability. The work will be great, but the companion is greater.
