Read Hebrews 4:15-16 in the NABRE onlineFor we have not a high priest, who cannot have compassion on our infirmities: but one tempted in all things like as we are, without sin. Let us go therefore with confidence to the throne of grace: that we may obtain mercy, and find grace in seasonable aid.
Reflection
The temptation Jesus faced was real, not theatrical. Because he felt the pull and did not yield, the throne he sits on is one you can approach with confidence rather than shame.
