Reflection
A father at the end of his rope says this with tears: I believe; help my unbelief. Jesus does not correct him for the contradiction — he heals his son. Faith and doubt can be in the same prayer, and God can answer both halves.
I believe; help my unbelief
A father at the end of his rope says this with tears. Faith and doubt are in the same sentence, and Jesus answers the prayer without correcting the contradiction. The boy is healed. God can work with honest mixed faith, but not with pretended certainty.
